December 2025 – Tis the Season
Every year we get to Christmas, which is they say, the happiest time of the year. Although I know that Christmas has become something other than it’s original intention, we strive to keep the spirit of the season alive, even more so as Christians. The Bible centers around giving, and we know that giving during the Christmas season is what Christmas is all about.
I want to encourage you to not only maintain, but to promote within your own home, the “spirit” of giving during this holiday season. It’s a time for us to remember that Jesus gave everything, because He loved giving. He was willing to give His life, and so the Bible teaches us that it’s more blessed to give than to receive. As we barrel through this holiday season, I want to encourage you to make a decision in your own heart that next year, your family and your home will be greater givers than ever before. Giving of your time, financial resources that benefit and advance the kingdom, and giving of mercy, love and compassion towards a broken and hurting world.
“Tis the season” my friend, to become bigger givers than ever before. Will you continue to give after December 25th, or will your giving end with the holiday season?
